A new online platform that will help waste businesses adapt their processes to comply with coronavirus hygiene and social distancing measures is recruiting waste companies onto a free pilot.

AnyWaste.Com – which is the first platform of its kind – allows waste management companies to run their business online and demonstrate their environmental compliance without the need for paperwork.

“Coronavirus has been challenging for waste businesses, and they need to adapt their processes to introduce social distancing and hygiene measures. AnyWaste.Com offers a perfect solution. The system is fully auditable and searchable and enables digital recording and signatures for legal waste collection documents,” explains AnyWaste.Com founder and CEO Damian Lambkin.

Businesses on the AnyWaste.Com pilot will have access to the online booking platform for free for 12 months. The online platform is compatible with computer and mobile OS.

“We have now reached the point in AnyWaste.Com’s development where we need to test it more widely and seek feedback for further development and then global roll-out,” says Damian Lambkin.

AnyWaste.Com’s founder Damian Lambkin has been running companies in the waste and recycling industry for the last 20 years. He is a former Microsoft engineer and incepted one of the UK’s first waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) and plastics recycling facilities and invested in one of the UK’s first WEEE compliance schemes. Damian started working on the initial idea for an online waste management platform 10 years ago, and established AnyWaste.Com in 2020.

The business, which has been self-funded by its founders up to this point, is seeking £1.65 million seed funding for the expansion of the business. The firm has already been granted advanced assurances for the Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) and Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme (SEIS).
